We’re currently driving a couple of projects in our local community:
1. A dog park in Wishaw with a Social Enterprise Company to operate it.
2. We’ve agreed to refurbish donated school uniforms from schools in North Lanarkshire for underprivileged children.
Rather than uniforms which no longer fit simply being thrown away, Clyde Valley High School and its feeder schools in North Lanarkshire now request that any unwanted garments be handed back at the end of the year. ACS then collect these uniforms and sanitise, clean, repair and press them before returning them to the schools for reuse.
This initiative is saving parents a fortune, extending the life of these garments, and helping our environment.
