Meet Team ACS
Andrew Rough
Chief Executive Officer
Andrew joined ACS in late 2009. Through this period, ACS has become the largest apparel rental & renewal operation in the UK as well as setting up the US business to its sale in August 2018. Prior to joining ACS, Andrew held several financial and commercial positions in industry with both US listed and UK private companies. Prior to this, Andrew was a Senior Manager with Arthur Andersen. Andrew qualified as a chartered accountant in 1995 after previously graduating from Edinburgh University with a BEng (Hons) Electrical & Mechanical Engineering in 1990.

Anthony Burns
Chief Operating Officer
Tony joined ACS in 2006. Throughout this period, Tony has led the company’s operations through the execution of the long-term growth strategy. Tony has driven operational alignment and effectiveness across the business, both in the UK, and in the US to exit.
Tony has held a variety of senior roles in third-party logistics companies, and in-house operations. Tony graduated with a BEng (Hons) in Engineering in 1996 and followed this with an MSc in Logistics and an MBA at Strathclyde Business School in 2013. He was awarded an Honorary DBA in 2022.
Craig Findlay
Chief Finance Officer
Craig Findlay, who had been acting as Interim Finance Director, has been appointed as our Chief Financial Officer as of March 2024. Craig has been a Chartered Accountant since 1990 with a background in law from Glasgow University.
Over his career, he has held a variety of financial positions with private, publicly traded, and private equity-backed companies, including well-known Scottish organisations such as STV, Clyde Radio, and the Royal Bank of Scotland. Craig brings a wealth of experience and expertise in financial management and strategic planning.
Peter Williams
Non-Executive Chairman
Peter joined ACS in September 2023 as Chairman, with immediate effect. He currently holds the Chairman position at Mister Spex, an omnichannel eyewear retailer in Berlin, and has a distinguished career across the fashion and retail industry. Prior to his non-executive roles, he chaired globally renowned brands such as Sophia Webster, boohoo, Superdry, Jaeger, and Blacks. He also served on the board of ASOS for eight years.
Previously, Peter was CFO with Selfridges before taking the reigns as CEO. During his thirteen-year tenure, Selfridges’ flagship store on Oxford Street underwent a major transformation, the company went public, and three new stores were opened outside London.

Daryl Brown
Head of IT
Daryl Joined ACS in July 2014, starting as an IT Support specialist and advancing to the role of Senior IT Support specialist before ultimately becoming the Head of IT. He brings a wealth of IT knowledge having worked for a number of Global manufacturing companies most notably Heineken and CTS. Daryl brings a strategic vision and a customer-centric approach to drive technological advancements and ensure seamless operations, His passion for innovation and continuous improvement empowers our company to leverage cutting-edge solutions, optimize processes, and maintain a competitive edge in the digital landscape. Daryl graduated with a Postgraduate Diploma Advanced Computer Systems Development from Paisley University in 2010.
Jan Buntin
Head of Finance & HR
Jan joined ACS in September 2008. She has responsibility for all Finance and HR functions and played a pivotal role in the ACS journey moving from a privately owned family business to a private equity backed business. Jan also led the Finance Department in the USA, increasing her knowledge of overseas accounting & taxation requirements and legislation. Prior to joining ACS, Jan held several financial positions across different industry sectors thus bringing a wealth of knowledge to the business. Jan particularly enjoys mentoring her colleagues and seeing them flourish as their confidence, skills, ability, and knowledge develop.
Michael Cusack
Head of Sustainability
Michael has worked with ACS for many years but finally became a permanent member in 2021. Michael has worked in many industries, mostly ‘blue-chips‘, internationally. Michael helps ACS ensure that their business practices are economically, environmentally, and socially sustainable. He develops, manages, and monitors ACS’s sustainability strategy, and is responsible for improving the organisation’s environmental, social, and economic impact. The most enjoyable part of my role is finding better ways to provide the things people want, ways that don’t poison our air, or water or land, and have a positive impact on communities.
Grant Smith
Head of Operations
Grant joined ACS in December 2021. Grant previously held the position of DC Manager at Quiz Clothing where he ran their omni channel distribution centre. Prior to that, working for DHL, servicing the Marks & Spencer fashion and general merchandise account. In his role at ACS, Grant manages all operational activities within our circular fashion hub. This includes overseeing our talented and diverse workforce plus working with the senior team on strategic planning and developing processes to onboard new partners. The variety of his role ensures every day brings fresh challenges. Grant enjoys driving efficiencies within existing processes plus developing new processes to satisfy new partners and business streams. ACS place a real focus on staff development, it is great to see so many people given the opportunity to develop and progress their careers within operations.
