The U.K.’s leading circular fashion hub Advanced Clothing Solutions (ACS), has launched its debut campaign with agency partner Hydrogen dedicated to educating and supporting businesses joining the fashion resale revolution.
ACS is committed to transforming the fashion industry by enabling fashion brands and retailers to enter the resale market and capitalise on the circular economy opportunity. As the biggest back-end logistics provider of resale garments in the U.K., the ACS resale offering extends the life of garments to minimise waste and keep current garments in circulation for longer.
Working with Scotland’s largest social media agency, this inaugural campaign will explain how brands can become circular with ACS. Walking fashion brands through the steps it takes to make this a reality.
The Campaign – Join the Resale Revolution
Directed primarily toward fashion brands looking to crack the resale market, the campaign highlights resale’s environmental and commercial benefits.
Fashion brands and retailers are beginning to take accountability for the impact fashion has on the planet and often start this journey by introducing a resale model. However, as fashion brands and retailers shift towards sustainable resale business models, they face the logistical challenge of fulfilling that service. Lyndsey Pell, Head of Marketing, ACS, says: “Resale is expected to grow to a global net worth of $77 billion by 2026 (source: ThreadUp 2022 Resale Report), far exceeding the anticipated net worth of fast fashion.

The social campaign will launch in August 2022 and run online across ACS’s social channels in the U.K. and digital media.
Resale at ACS
- ACS provides a complete rental and resale fulfilment service, managing the entire process from its purpose-built 200,000 sq ft fashion hub at Eurocentral, located in a developing biodiversity area complete with beehives, wildflowers and a wormery.
- ACS are not only experts in garment care and repair but also in reverse logistics, encompassing order management, environmentally friendly cleaning, garment care and repair and photography for resale partners. Using ozone technology to clean garments, ACS employs microplastic filters to minimise water pollution and recycles the by-product to make building bricks.
